This is the first addition to Angel’s Envy’s core lineup since the release of its rum cask-finished rye in 2013. On the nose there’s spiced oak, cherry cordials, and whipped cream, with an undercurrent of dried fruit. The palate offers brown sugar, salted caramel, and a prominent oak spiciness. Coffee, cigar leaf, and oak on the lengthy finish.
