Potent blackberry and raspberry preserves are edged by a balsamic glaze in this languid red. It’s a succulent, densely concentrated wine, but poised with fresh acidity and a nervy, mineral finish. The tannins are fine and quite glossy. Drink now–2027.
Wine Spectator, 92 Points
Ripe and silky in feel, with raspberry and plum compote notes that glide through, supported by light sandalwood, garrigue and tea notes. A subtle mineral streak adds length and lift through the finish. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Best from 2020 through 2034. 5,500 cases made, 1,880 cases imported.
