PREJEAN CHARDONNAY

Prejean Chardonnay, has bright green apple aromas with floral notes on the nose. The palate is creamy with a medium-bodied mouth feel and a crisp acidity that lingers on. Flavors of pear and green apples emerge on the mid-palate, followed by a smooth, refreshing finish with a hint of vanilla spice. This Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel tanks instead of oak for a more refreshing wine.

Prejean Winery opened in 1986. Sadly, founder Jim Prejean died suddenly in 1989, but he was fortunate enough to see his dream realized. He was quite proud of the family accomplishments, and even though he only lived for three years after the winery opening, he touched many people – including those who carry on his legacy today
