PREJEAN CHARDONNAY RESERVE

Prejean Reserve Chardonnay, is a full-bodied wine with aromas of pear fig and apple on the nose. The palate offers a creamy texture with vanilla notes and toasted oak lingering in the background. Citrus flavors and floral notes appear on the mid-palate, which yields to a refreshing and crisp finish. This Chardonnay is barrel fermented in both French and American oak and aged on the lees before bottling. Prejean Winery opened in 1986. Sadly, founder Jim Prejean died suddenly in 1989, but he was fortunate enough to see his dream realized. He was quite proud of the family accomplishments, and even though he only lived for three years after the winery opening, he touched many people – including those who carry on his legacy today.
