BILLSBORO WINERY CABERNET FRANC
$24.99
Notebook: Cabernet Franc is poised to take pride of place in the Finger Lakes, and in New York as a whole. We certainly feel that it’s a grape capable of making a statement – reflecting both its palce of origin and a winemaker’s style.
We’ve always leaned into the potential elegance of Cab Franc, and this bottling carries on in that vein. A bright ruby color catches the eye, with racy red fruits on the nose and palate. The classic, savory peppercorn and herb notes show up as well. This wine can be enjoyed now but has the structure to evolve gracefully for a decade.

Lively and centered, showing aromas of brambleberries and bruised strawberries. The silky palate has well-integrated notes of sweet spices, cigar humidor, mocha and dark, dusty cherries.
