Our Rosé Dry is made from Cabernet Franc grapes that have been left on the skins long enough to give the wine a light, fruity color, body and flavor. Cabernet Franc is the signature red grape of the Finger Lakes and is versatile enough to be made in many styles, including Rosé, varietal Cab Franc and red blends.
The 2022 vintage was very warm and dry, particularly during late July through the end of August. Berry size remained small, which resulted in a lighter harvest. The quality of the wines are exceptional, which is good news, but the quantities are limited.
