Tasting Notes
This young wine is still developing it’s true character. It shows blackberry, graphite and violet notes as well as medium plus tannins. There is lots of red cherry on the finish, as well as some chocolate. This should age and integrate for several more years. If drinking now, pair with sirloin steak and leaner cuts of meat, braised meats, roast beef.
Winemaker Notes
Aged in used (1-2 year old) French, American and Hungarian oak bar-rels for 24 months. Then all barrels were blended to achieve rich black cherry and chocolate notes with a smoky , smooth finish.
