The Abstract pours a deep purple core with a ruby red rim in the glass. Ripe black plum, blueberry and fresh boysenberry dominate the aromatics with complementary notes of leather and Tahitian vanilla. Bright blue and black fruits prosper on the broad entry with tones of blackberry compote and dried lavender. Flooding, rich and concentrated throughout the palate, the wine closes with si lky tannins and generous lift.

Orin Swift has recently opened a new tasting lounge in St. Helena, CA, a must-visit for those exploring Napa Valley. Dave Phinney, the founder of Orin Swift, remains deeply involved in making all the decisions to pick and refine these wines in the cellar. This blend bursts with explosive blue fruit aromatics, layered with violets and sweet baking spice. Medium- to full-bodied, the palate is packed with pure blue fruit, blackberry, and black cherry, all structured around a crystalline acid backbone and firm tannins. The juicy fruit finish lingers, accented by white pepper and pressed floral aromatics—a bold yet balanced expression of Orin Swift’s signature style.”
