WEINGUT STEFAN MÜLLER RIESLING TROCKEN (DRY)
$20.99
The dry Riesling is one of our estate wines and is therefore also the entry-level wine in our dry range. It conveys lots of pear, citrus, lychee, light flowers and a little raw almond on the nose. A mood-lifter with a flowing drink of crisp, fresh citrus fruit, yellow stone fruit and a fine mineral band.
The Muller Estate Trocken comes this year from old vines from 1983 at the top of the Niedermenniger Herrenberg, a red slate site. Vinified dry in 2/3 stainless steel, 1/3 Fuder barrels. Energetic, crunchy, mineral, and far more serious a wine than it has to be — as always!
7.0 g/l RS and 8.3 g/l acidity
- Size: .750L
Description
“This cruises far above the usual standards set by Estate wines. Forget the word Estate Riesling, this is a serious wine in its own right.” Jean Fisch and David Rayer, Mosel Fine Wine
The 2023er Riesling Trocken is made with fruit picked on young vines in the Krettnacher Euchariusberg. It offers a beautiful nose made of pear, citrusy elements, fine spices, minerals, and smoke. The wine is sharp, precise, and packed with flavors on the palate and leaves a nicely linear feel in the finish.
