WEIS VINEYARDS SEYVAL BLANC (LIMITED)

This is the first ever Seyval Blanc that we’ve produced, and we’re so happy to share it with our members! On the nose you can immediately detect the tart green apple notes which are highlighted even stronger with your first sip. Picture biting into the juiciest, ripest green apple; the sharp acidity balanced with the clean taste of fruit. You get some of that grassy herbaceousness that you’d normally find in a Sauvignon Blanc with a little tart lime flavor. It’s tangy, bright, and wonderfully crisp. It also softens on the back end of the palate leaving you with a delightfully clean mouthfeel. For those that love the Grüner Veltliner or Sauvignon Blanc, this is a perfect balance of the two with its own unique flavors. Enjoy with a goat cheese and apple stuffed pork tenderloin, crisp summer salads, light fish dishes, or on its own!
